Welcome to Saint Teilo's School

Saint Teiloās is a Catholic Primary School, located in the heart of the resort of Tenby.
We have a dedicated and enthusiastic staff that strives constantly to provide the best possible education for our pupils.
Alongside the efforts of staff, parents are very supportive and the P.T.A group plays a vital part in ensuring the success of our school.
We accept children from all sections of the community and welcome visits from prospective students and their parents.
MINISTERāS SCHOOLS ANNOUNCEMENT WELCOMED
Pembrokeshire County Council welcomes the announcement that remote learning will continue until at least Friday, January 29th.
The Welsh Government has brought the decision on schools into line with the three-weekly review of the Alert Levels.
Education Minister Kirsty Williams announced last night that unless there is a significant reduction in Covid-19 transmission before January 29th, remote learning would continue until the next review date, which coincides with the February half-term.
Vulnerable children and children of key workers will still have access to their usual school.
Pembrokeshire County Council Director for Education Steven Richards-Downes, said: āThis announcement provides more clarity on the immediate future to learners, parents, carers and our dedicated school staff.
āAll schools in Pembrokeshire are already planning and delivering blended learning to their learners and this now includes developing live streaming of lessons where possible.
āSchools have introduced a County wide model policy for live streaming acceptable use to parents.
āSchools have been training staff in the use of a number of platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Google Classrooms including training and support for both synchronous and asynchronous activity as this supports families in being able to meet the needs of learners at home.ā
Cllr Guy Woodham, Cabinet Member for Education and Lifelong Learning, added: āOnce again I thank all learners, parents, carers and school staff for the way they have embraced remote learning and we continue to look forward to the time when face-to-face learning can resume.ā

I hope you had a restful Christmas and I wish you all a Happy New Year.
As you are aware, from Monday 4th Jan to Friday 8th Jan we are providing online learning. The teachers will be uploading work on the Hwb tonight. Please contact individual teachers if you have any queries.
This time we will be doing a whole class meet using Teams. (children will be invited to join the meeting through their Hwb email).
School will be open to children of Key workers from Wednesday 6th January 2021. Please ring the school tomorrow if you need to book a place.
Please don't forget you have access to reading books through the Oxford Owl site. All children should know their password.
Hopefully, we will be back to face to face teaching from 11th January 2021.
Thank you for your co-operation during these challenging times.
2020 has been a difficult year, so today on the feast of #StRichardGwyn we are asking everyone to say a massive thank you to all the teachers that have worked hard. Would be great to get a RT from @AngelaJBurns
